We are currently recruiting for a Medical Aesthetician/Clinical Research Coordinator. The position supports clinical study implementation and ensures that studies follow protocol, good clinical practice, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for completing clinical assessments and patient procedures per protocol. Also accurately performs administrative activities that support clinical trials.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen and recruit study participants and determine if the subjects meet the criteria for a specific research study.

  • Collect, process, and assist in the compilation and verification of research data, samples, and/or specimens following strict protocols.

  • Accurately perform data entry for studies into databases and/or spreadsheets.

  • Assist with routine data verification and quality control, ensuring data integrity and consistency with prescribed study protocol.

  • Complete and maintain case report forms per FDA guidelines, and review them against the patient’s medical record for completeness and accuracy.

  • Draft Informed Consents, Protocols, and other study related documents.

  • Assist in the development of SOPs.

  • Responsible for appropriate filing and maintenance of all regulatory documents.

  • Prepare materials for IRB submission under the direction of senior team members.

  • Conduct literature reviews.

  • Measure physical effects on the bodies of study subjects using high-end instrumentation.

  • Manage Bioinstrumentation and related tests and documentation under the supervision P.I.

  • Apply cosmetic products to study subjects or give instructions for self-application.

  • Performs treatments with a Medical Device.

Job Related Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • A valid Texas Cosmetology/Aesthetician license

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (written and oral)

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in clinical testing

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and US regulations for clinical trials

  • B.S in a scientific or healthcare-related field or foreign medical graduate

  • Minimum two years of experience in a related healthcare position
