White River Junction VA Medical Center - Volunteer Research Fellows
The laboratory of Dr. Samuel Lee, located at White River Junction VA Medical Center, a major teaching affiliate of Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, is seeking one to two highly motivated Volunteer Research Fellows to study fungal pathogenesis and antifungal drug discovery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to strengthen their credentials for residency training. This is an unpaid position. A minimum of one year commitment is expected in order to gain sufficient expertise and productivity in the lab. Prior experience in biomedical research is preferred but not required. The volunteer research fellows will generate their own primary data, and will be mentored in experimental design, laboratory methods, data analysis, and research presentations, and manuscript preparation. There will be opportunity to participate in the full range of educational conferences in the Medicine Service.
