The Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is currently accepting applications for a PGY-3 categorical resident position beginning July 1, 2019. The University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is a state-of- the-art facility which recently opened in 2017 and is located in Iowa City, Iowa.

 

Our residency program provides a flexible environment that encourages trainees to gain knowledge and skills on their path to becoming excellent general pediatricians or fellows in any pediatric subspecialty. Our academic, University-based training site is located in a highly livable community, giving residents the clinical and research resources they need, in a safe, vibrant city where they can thrive personally. Graduates are prepared for the next step in their careers, whether they are entering private practice, academic practice, or fellowship.

 

Applicants must have successfully completed years one and two in Pediatrics, be in good standing in an ACGME accredited program, and have been authorized by their current Program Director to apply for interview.   • PGY-1 Schedule of rotations completed

  • PGY-2 Schedule of rotations completed

  • Foreign Medical Graduates: ECFMG Certification (if applicable)
