University of Oklahoma - Oklahoma City Ophthalmology PGY-2 Position

DESCRIPTION:Offering a PGY-2 position to begin 7/1/19. We have a highly-ranked residency program that provides unparalleled opportunities in medical and surgical ophthalmology, international medicine, research, and professional service. We are in the process of expanding from 4 to 5 residents per year and are delighted offer an additional position beginning July 1, 2019. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Pre-requisites: Prior to appointment in the program, on or before June 30 2019, all applicants must have successfully completed a post-graduate clinical year (PGY-1) in an ACGME-accredited program, or in a program located in Canada and accredited by the RCPSC or CFPC. The PGY-1 must be in one of the following specialties: emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, or transitional year. Note: In your cover letter, please explain in detail why you are seeking a position outside the regular match program, eg. did not match, finishing a residency in a different specialty, military service, completing graduate degree or post-doctoral work, etc.
