Surgical Assistant Program - ACE 6-Day Surgical Skill Lab
IDEAL TRAINING FOR FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES
If you graduated from medical school in a foreign country, then you qualify to sit for the ABSA certifying exam after attending the ACE 6-day Surgical SkillLab™. Because of your extensive medical background, you aren’t required to take the entire Surgical Assistant Program. The nationally and internationally respected American surgical credential you’ll earn is SA-C (Surgical Assistant – Certified).
American bureaucracy makes it very hard for foreign trained MDs like you to get into a residency program. Many have found that becoming a Surgical Assistant is a good way to get back into medicine and earn a better income while waiting for a residency. Also, this is an excellent chance for you to meet and work with American surgeons who could recommend you to residency programs.
